First Commission

My first completed commissioned piece is this lime green butterfly heart. A woman I met at the weekend had her heart set on an all lime green heart where as I suggested maybe she had a few white butterflies to break it up.
I actually think she was right to have it in all lime green. I just hope it looks ok in her bedroom!

Christmas Craft Fair's

I attended a couple of craft fair's last week, I wasn't sure that I would sell anything as they were targeting the Christmas shoppers but I managed to sell a painting (one which I found hard to part with!) and a butterfly canvas! I also took three orders for commissioned butterfly canvases, so I was very pleased!!

Like wildflowers

I've had this idea in my head for a while so I'm glad I've finally got it out! I loved doing this because I love creating a layout or design and making sure it's well balanced. It's basically just a mixture of all sorts of cuttings I've been collecting with a bit of stitching etc! Hope you like.

Flutterbys

It's Sunday, which can only mean one thing, craft day!
This is my latest experiment in my range of butterfly canvases; using a mixture of glossy and glittered wallpapers.
I completely stumbled across the colour scheme but I'm glad it worked out the way it did.

Wedding gift?

Today I have also had a go at creating some three-dimensional paper craft art on canvases. The first design I have produced could make a good wedding gift, perhaps? Or just for a modern, minimalist home!
I have done one in a simple, plain white design & one with some fancy glittery bits and bobs which catch the light nicely.

My trademark Poppy

I am attending a couple of local craft shows during December and so have spent my Sunday doing a few pieces today. The first being a classic singular poppy design, a favourite of mine.

I also made some personalised tags, which believe it or not took almost aslong as the painting itself!
I hope you like my first post!
